Job Description:
Position: English to Spanish Translator
Location: [Remote]
Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled English to Spanish translator to assist with translating a variety of documents and content. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional command of both English and Spanish languages and be able to deliver high-quality translations that maintain the intent, context, and tone of the original text.
Responsibilities:
1. Translate a variety of content from English to Spanish, including:
Technical documents
Product descriptions
Marketing content
Legal contracts
Website and app content
Internal company communications
2. Ensure accuracy, tone, and meaning:
Accurately convert technical terms, cultural references, and context.
Maintain consistency in terminology across projects.
Adapt content to the target audience’s cultural preferences.
3. Proofreading and Quality Control:
Edit and proofread translated content to ensure flawless grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Collaborate with teams to ensure quality and alignment with branding or legal requirements.
4. Meet Deadlines:
Work within given timelines to deliver translations
Qualifications:
Native-level proficiency in both English and Spanish.
Proven experience in translation (preferably in specialized fields such as legal, technical, or marketing content).
Strong attention to detail, with excellent grammar and editing skills.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Experience using translation tools like SDL Trados, Wordfast, or similar software is an advantage.
