Freelance Interpreter and Linguist at DA Languages: This role requires offering telephone/video interpreting services in Arabic and English. The calls include medical appointments, meetings with public officials, legal matters, immigration appointments, social services, child protection appointments, etc.
Freelance Subtitle Editor: The job description includes reviewing and editing subtitles as well as carrying out proficiency listening tests to determine whether the speaker is a native of Arabic or not (mainly freelance tasks in collaboration with Bandaparte SA.)
Freelance Conference Interpreter: My work experience includes interpreting at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome in collaboration with Centro Internazionale Crocevia, as well as interpreting conferences sponsored by the University of Granada (UGR), the BDS movement, EPATIA association, the CCOO (Comisiones Obreras), and the Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies (Fundación Euroárabe de Altos Estudios).
Recruiter & Public Service Interpreter: This role requires offering educational consultation and interpreting services to Middle Eastern students aspiring to study in Spain, providing information on administrative procedures such as applying for a study visa. The interpreting services are mainly offered to those students for their Immigration Office appointments (extranjería), as well as other public services appointments.
