My name is María and I am applying to this position because during the last 3 years I’ve invested a huge part of my time on people development and coaching, and this is where I’d love to grow in the future, as I’ve found here my passion.
I consider myself a good training designer and facilitator. Moreover, as Agile Coach I have large experience facilitating trainings and workshops, and coaching and mentoring people and teams.
To provide some examples, I’ve designed and delivered Design Thinking, Agile Leadership and Lean Startup trainings successfully, I have also leaded Coaching and Facilitation Dojos and other spaces like Communities of Practices for people development.
Actually, I am going to deliver a Leadership training designed by myself in my current company, and I am an ICAgile authorized instructor for the Agile Team Facilitator and Professional Agile Coaching trainings. I deliver these ICAgile trainings in collaboration with The Agile Company in the weekends.

Experiencia y habilidades
I started my professional career as a software developer, and as part of my “professional success” I was promoted to Project Manager and later, to other upper manager positions. I am a trenches person, but with the time I had to do less technical stuff and focus more on other things. The positive side of it, was that this let me discover new strengths and develop new skills. Somehow Life helped me to find my real vocation, People.
In 2008, I discovered the Agile mindset, because of an Agile Transformation that happened in the company I was working at that moment. From the very first moment I felt I had found my home.
From there, I have been learning and applying Agile and Lean practices in different companies (big corporations, startups and my own small company) and sectors (education, media, banking, insurance, consultancy, accounting etc.) with teams and at scale. I’ve worked with IT teams, product teams, marketing, HR and Leadership also.
Regarding my technical background, with the time I have become a very experienced trainer, workshop designer, and team facilitator, and also, a mentor for Scrum Masters, Product Owners and other Agile Coaches, with large experience using Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, LeSS, SAFe (a bit), Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Innovation, OKRs etc. As part of my evolution, I have learnt that even if I consider practices and methods important, I consider people and their interactions more important. For that reason, my passion is in Coaching and in the human and cultural part of the change.
My purpose is to empower people, teams, and companies, challenging and helping them to uncover their full potential, by creating safe spaces of conversation that let them find better ways to collaborate and perform, solving real human problems and finding purpose and joy in what they do.
So, I am looking for a company that let me to deliver on my purpose and where I can bring value to the table with my knowledge and experience. I strongly value psychological safety, feedback, autonomy, and be able to be curious and try new things.
